Missouri High School Basketball - Wright City overwhelms Wellsville-Middletown
February 15, 2024: Wright City, MO 63390 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Wright City Wildcats (Wright City, MO) and the visiting Wellsville-Middletown Tigers (Wellsville, MO), saw Wright City's basketball squad wallop Wellsville-Middletown by a count of 67-16.
With the victory, Wright City upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats host St. Louis Christian Academy (St. Louis, MO) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 19. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. St. Louis Christian Academy won 55-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Calvary Lutheran (Jefferson City, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Wellsville-Middletown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-11 record after their 77-41 non-league win over New Bloomfield (New Bloomfield, MO).
