February 15, 2024: Bernardsville, NJ 07924 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ), by a count of 49-47.
The Mountaineers (14-13) will now prepare for their outing against Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 11-10 record. In their last outing, Dayton was tipped by East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ), 45-40, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 10-15 record. They play next when they travel to University for a non-league match on Friday, February 16. Columbia will meet a Phoenix team coming off a 64-37 non-league win over Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ). The Phoenix record now stands at 21-2.
