February 15, 2024: Big Rapids, MI 49307 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) and the visiting Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI), saw Big Rapids's basketball squad wallop Newaygo by a tally of 49-24.
With the victory, Big Rapids improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Cadillac won 43-29 in their recent league challenge against Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI)
Next up, the Lions confront the Oakridge Eagles (Muskegon, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 19. Newaygo will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 61-38 non-league loss to Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI).
