Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeshore tops Central
February 15, 2024: Battle Creek, MI 49017 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) and the host Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI), saw Lakeshore's basketball squad knock off Central by a tally of 53-36.
With the victory, Lakeshore improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Dowagiac (Dowagiac, MI) to play the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Dowagiac won 54-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - East challenge, on Friday, February 23. Central will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record.
