Oklahoma High School Basketball - Midway overwhelmed by Kiowa
February 15, 2024: Kiowa, OK 74553 The Kiowa Cowboys basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Midway Chargers to 34 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cowboys now sport a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pittsburg for a Pittsburg Eight contest on Saturday, February 17. Kiowa will meet a Panthers team coming off a 50-29 non-league win over Whitesboro (Whitesboro, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 24-4.
With the defeat, Midway moves to 19-5 on the year. The Chargers host Tupelo (Tupelo, OK) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, February 16. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 13-15. Tupelo won 36-32 in their recent non-league match against Stringtown (Stringtown, OK)
