Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Purple Hurricanes confront the Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Monroe Area will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Shiloh (Snellville, GA).
