Georgia High School Baseball - Pierce County edges Academy for Classical Education
February 15, 2025: Blackshear, GA 31516 The Pierce County Bears baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Academy for Classical Education Gryphons to 1 in the Bears non-league win on Saturday.
The Bears now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brantley County for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 18. Pierce County will clash with a Herons team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, GA). The Herons record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Academy for Classical Education drops to 2-2 on the year. The Gryphons host Central (Macon, GA) to clash with the Chargers in a 1A D-I Area 2 test on Tuesday, February 18. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 0-1. Central lost 17-1 in their recent non-league test against Northside (Warner Robins, GA)
