February 15, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70508 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA), saw St. Thomas More's baseball team beat Pineville by a margin of 14-3.
The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Assumption was overwhelmed by Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rebels face the Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 15. Pineville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA).
