Louisiana High School Baseball - Sacred Heart loses to Vermilion Catholic
February 15, 2025: Ville Platte, LA 70586 Vermilion Catholic Eagles (Abbeville, LA) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA), 12-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Vermilion Catholic advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) to battle the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Knights come into the match with a record of 5-0.
The Trojans now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenmora for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Sacred Heart will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Vinton (Vinton, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
