February 15, 2025: Beecher, IL 60401 Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL), 73-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Beecher advances its record to 17-12 on the year. The Bobcats host Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 18-9. Wilmington won 51-50 in their recent league match against Streator (Streator, IL)
The Hawks now own a 7-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Prairie Central will face a Railsplitters squad coming off a 42-33 league loss to MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Railsplitters record now stands at 20-9.
