In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting South Central Rebels basketball team scored a big 57-16 triumph over the Cannelton Bulldogs.

The Rebels (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against New Washington (New Washington, IN). The Mustangs go into the Southern contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, New Washington was trounced by Lanesville (Lanesville, IN), 53-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Christian Academy of Madison Defenders (Madison, IN) in a Southern Roads contest, on Monday, February 17. Cannelton will attempt to better on its 3-16 season record. The Defenders go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 70-31 league loss to Medora (Medora, IN).
