February 15, 2025: Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 Marshfield Tigers (Marshfield, WI) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI), 62-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Marshfield advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Wausau West (Wausau, WI) to face the Warriors in a Wisconsin Valley match on Tuesday, February 18. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 15-6. Wausau West lost 75-72 in their recent league match against Wausau East (Wausau, WI)
The Cardinals now own a 0-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prescott for a non-league match on Monday, February 17. Chippewa Falls will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 67-49 league loss to Amery (Amery, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-7.
