In Saturday's non-league test, the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) basketball squad trounced the host North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN), by a score of 62-38.

Next, the Ingots encounter the Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN) in a Greater South Shore test, on Tuesday, February 18. River Forest will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Oilers come into the test with a 0-19 record after their 56-35 non-league loss to DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN).

The Spartans (2-16) will now prepare for their test against South Newton (Kentland, IN). The Rebels come into the Midwest test with a 2-14 record.
