February 15, 2025: Wheelersburg, OH 45694 The Wheelersburg Pirates (Wheelersburg, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Notre Dame Titans (Portsmouth, OH), 52-31 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Waverly for a Southern Ohio III bout on Monday, February 17. Wheelersburg will play a Tigers team coming off a 58-39 league loss to South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 7-14.
With the loss, Notre Dame falls to 16-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to St. Joseph Central (Ironton, OH) to play the Flyers in a Southern Ohio I bout on Monday, February 17.
