Georgia High School Basketball - Eastside holds off Cedar Shoals
February 15, 2025: Covington, GA 30014 The Eastside Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Cedar Shoals Jaguars to 51 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to Stockbridge for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Eastside will confront a Tigers team coming off a 41-40 non-league loss to Jones County (Gray, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 21-6.
With the loss, Cedar Shoals falls to 9-19 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Jones County (Gray, GA) to confront the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 26-1. Jones County won 41-40 in their recent non-league game against Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA)
