February 15, 2025: Cordova, AK 99574 The Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) basketball crushed the host Cordova Wolverines (Cordova, AK), 70-17 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Edgecumbe for a 3A Eastern bout on Tuesday, February 18. Sitka will play a Braves team coming off a 50-45 league loss to Sitka (Sitka, AK). The Braves record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Cordova falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Effie Kokrine Charter (Fairbanks, AK) to play the Warriors in a 2A Interior bout on Thursday, February 27. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
