With the victory, Newark Collegiate Academy advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Panthers host St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ) to face the Gray Bees in a Super Essex - Independence match on Tuesday, February 18. The Gray Bees enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Roughriders now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Star Academy for a Super Essex - Freedom match on Saturday, February 15. West Side will face a squad coming off a 41-38 non-league win over Millburn (Millburn, NJ). The record now stands at 4-5.
