In Saturday's non-league test, the HCYA (Houston, TX) softball squad the host Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), by a tally of 6-2.

Next, the confront the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders (Tomball, TX) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 17. HCYA will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 10-9 non-league win over The Woodlands Christian Academy (The Woodlands, TX).

With the loss, Ball moves to 1-6 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX) to confront the Chargers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 18.
