In Saturday's non-league test, the Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) softball squad got by the host Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), by a tally of 9-8.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Tomball Memorial Wildcats (Tomball, TX) in a 6A Region II District 15 test, on Monday, February 17. Magnolia will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Angleton (Angleton, TX).

The Tornadoes (1-7) will now prepare for their test against HCYA (Houston, TX). The go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, HCYA was nudged by London (Corpus Christi, TX), 7-5, in a non-league test.
