The Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs softball squad (Sugar Land, TX), was routed 17-5 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX)

With the triumph, Memorial improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX) to face the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, February 18. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Cypress Falls won 16-1 in their recent non-league contest against Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX)

The Bulldogs now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Lamar Consolidated for a non-league contest on Monday, February 17. Fort Bend Austin will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Needville (Needville, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.
