Texas High School Softball - North Mesquite bounces Newman Smith
February 15, 2025: Carrollton, TX 75006 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) and the host Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), observed North Mesquite's softball team prevail over Newman Smith by a tally of 14-3.
The Stallions (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Kaufman knocked off South Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Wilson Wildcats (Dallas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 25. Newman Smith will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 12-8 non-league win over Naaman Forest (Garland, TX).
