The Pirates now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinidad for a 3A/2A Southern Peaks battle on Saturday, February 18. Monte Vista will confront a Miners team coming off a 49-32 non-league loss to South Park (Fairplay, CO). The Miners record now stands at 1-16.
The Farmers (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Custer County (Westcliffe, CO). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Custer County trounced Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO), 87-73, in a non-league battle.
