Michigan High School Basketball - Pinckney overwhelmed by South Lyon
February 16, 2023: Pinckney, MI 48169 The South Lyon Lions basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Pinckney Pirates to 33 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milford for a Lakes Valley contest on Friday, February 24. South Lyon will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 35-18 league win over Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Mavericks record now stands at 11-9.
The Pirates (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI). The Indians come into the Southeastern - White contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Tecumseh triumphed over Adrian (Adrian, MI), 69-20, in a league contest.
