Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Villa Walsh Academy Vikings (Morristown, NJ), 51-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wallkill Valley upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Watchung Hills Regional Warriors (Warren, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. Villa Walsh Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 16-7 record after their 76-47 non-league loss to Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ).
