February 16, 2023: La Verne, CA 91750 Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Crescenta Valley Falcons (La Crescenta, CA), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bearcats now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walnut for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. Bonita will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Crescenta Valley falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to La Serna (Whittier, CA) to face the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
