February 16, 2024: Barbourville, KY 40906 The Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) basketball knocked off the host Barbourville Tigers (Barbourville, KY), 65-52 in Friday's non-league test.
The Golden Lions (6-21) will now prepare for their test against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 6-21 record. In their last test, Western Hills went down by Beth Haven (Louisville, KY), 98-59, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 6-23 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. Barbourville will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Generals record now stands at 11-15.
