South Dakota High School Basketball - Centerville knocked off by Chester
February 16, 2024: Chester, SD 57016 The Chester Flyers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Centerville Tornadoes to 46 in the Flyers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Flyers now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeman for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Chester will meet a Flyers team coming off a 72-63 league win over Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD). The Flyers record now stands at 13-6.
The Tornadoes (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Corsica/Stickney ran past Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD), 52-40, in a league contest.
