February 16, 2024: Chamberlain, SD 57325 The Chamberlain Cubs basketball team (Chamberlain, SD), was overwhelmed 67-33 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD)
The Trojans now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCook Central/Montrose for a A Region 3 battle on Saturday, February 17. West Central will confront a Fighting Cougars team coming off a 68-60 league win over Tri-Valley (Colton, SD). The Fighting Cougars record now stands at 6-12.
The Cubs (2-17) will now prepare for their battle against Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Corsica/Stickney trounced Parkston (Parkston, SD), 43-36, in a non-league battle.
