Minnesota High School Basketball - Chisholm overwhelms Ely
February 16, 2024: Chisholm, MN 55719 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chisholm Bluestreaks (Chisholm, MN) and the visiting Ely Timberwolves (Ely, MN), saw Chisholm's basketball squad wallop Ely by a tally of 79-38.
With the victory, Chisholm improves its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Bluestreaks host McGregor (McGregor, MN) to play the Mercuries in a A Section 7 challenge on Monday, February 19. The Mercuries come into the challenge with a record of 8-15. McGregor lost 82-77 in their recent non-league challenge against Swanville (Swanville, MN)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers (Mountain Iron, MN) in a A Section 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Ely will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 99-16 league win over Floodwood (Floodwood, MN).
