February 16, 2024: Delmar, DE 19940 The Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE) basketball knocked off the visiting Wilmington Christian Warriors (Hockessin, DE), 56-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Spartans go into the Henlopen - Southern test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Lake Forest went down by Laurel (Laurel, DE), 73-70, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Newark Charter School for a non-league test on Monday, February 19. Wilmington Christian will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 84-51 non-league win over Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Patriots record now stands at 5-13.
