Michigan High School Basketball - Jeffers nips Escanaba
February 16, 2024: Escanaba, MI 49829 Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI), 75-68 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jeffers upgrades its record to 20-1 on the season. The Jets travel to L'Anse (L'Anse, MI) to play the Purple Hornets in a Western Peninsula bout on Monday, February 19. The Purple Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-16.
Next up, the Eskymos play the Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Escanaba will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
