North Dakota High School Basketball - Fargo South nips Moorhead
February 16, 2024: Fargo, ND 58103 Fargo South Bruins (Fargo, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN), 74-71 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fargo South upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Bruins travel to Fargo North (Fargo, ND) to play the Spartans in a AA East bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Fargo North won 99-82 in their recent league bout against West Fargo (West Fargo, ND)
Next up, the Spuds play the Detroit Lakes Lakers (Detroit Lakes, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Moorhead will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 20-2 record after their 87-50 non-league win over Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN).
