New Jersey High School Basketball - Governor Livingston holds off Middlesex
February 16, 2024: Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) and the visiting Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ), saw Governor Livingston's basketball squad hold off Middlesex by a tally of 68-65.
With the victory, Governor Livingston improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Johnson (Clark, NJ) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 11-7.
Next up, the Bluejays confront the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 21. Middlesex will attempt to improve on its 13-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 63-41 non-league win over New Egypt (New Egypt, NJ).
