Marlboro Central Dukes (Marlboro, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Highland Huskies (Highland, NY), 46-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marlboro Central upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign.

Next up, the Huskies play the Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Sawyers come into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY).
