The Waseca Bluejays basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Marshall Tigers to 72 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bluejays now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial for a AA Section 2 contest on Monday, February 19. Waseca will meet a Knights team coming off a 89-63 non-league win over Loyola (Mankato, MN). The Knights record now stands at 21-3.

The Tigers (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 18-0 record. In their last contest, Sioux Falls Christian ran past Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 93-64, in a non-league contest.
