Minnesota High School Basketball - Spring Grove crushes Martin County West
February 16, 2024: Spring Grove, MN 55974 Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN), 66-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spring Grove upgrades its record to 22-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN) to clash with the Cougars in a A Section 1 bout on Monday, February 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-11. Mabel-Canton won 98-79 in their recent non-league bout against Rochester STEM Academy (Rochester, MN)
Next up, the Mavericks clash with the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Monday, February 19. Martin County West will attempt to upgrade on its 4-22 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 72-70 non-league loss to Central (Norwood-Young America, MN).
