South Dakota High School Basketball - McLaughlin knocked off by Standing Rock
February 16, 2024: McLaughlin, SD 57642 The Standing Rock Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and held the host McLaughlin Mustangs to 41 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wahpeton for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Standing Rock will battle a Huskies team coming off a 71-48 non-league loss to Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND). The Huskies record now stands at 12-6.
The Mustangs (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Central (Eureka, SD). The Thunder enter the A Region 6 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, North Central ran past Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD), 50-31, in a non-league contest.
