South Dakota High School Basketball - Ponca succumbs to Vermillion
February 16, 2024: Vermillion, SD 57069 The Vermillion Tanagers topped the visiting Ponca Indians basketball team by a final score of 63-53 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tanagers face the Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD) in a A Region 4 game, on Monday, February 19. Vermillion will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The C-Hawks enter the game with a 11-8 record after their 72-65 non-league win over Hanson (Alexandria, SD).
With the defeat, Ponca moves to 19-2 on the year.
