The Kearny Komets basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Preuss UCSD Tritons to 19 in the Komets non-league victory on Friday.

The Komets now sport a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest EC for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Kearny will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-25 non-league win over High Tech NC (San Marcos, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-20.
