February 16, 2024: Oakley, ID 83346 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lapwai Wildcats (Lapwai, ID) and the host Oakley Hornets (Oakley, ID), saw Lapwai's basketball squad knock off Oakley by a count of 44-32.
With the victory, Lapwai upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Grace (Grace, ID) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 21-3. Grace won 65-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Prairie (Cottonwood, ID)
Next up, the Hornets play the Prairie Pirates (Cottonwood, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 17. Oakley will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 18-8 record after their 65-52 non-league loss to Grace (Grace, ID).
