Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI) and the host Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI), saw River Rouge's basketball squad wallop Pontiac by a count of 53-26.

With the victory, River Rouge upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Robichaud (Dearborn Heights, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. Robichaud lost 85-20 in their recent league battle against Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI)

The Phoenix (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Ferndale (Ferndale, MI). The Eagles come into the Oakland - Gold battle with a 13-3 record.
