California High School Lacrosse - Downey drops to Glendale
February 16, 2024: Downey, CA 90241 In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Glendale Nitros lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-5 victory over the Downey Vikings.
The Nitros now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Redondo Union for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 21. Glendale will face a Sea Hawks squad coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 22. Downey will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Broncos come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA).
