February 16, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30328 Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Mount Vernon will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Golden Bears enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA).
The Spartans now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Weber School for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. North Springs will confront a Rams team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.
