February 16, 2024: Cumby, TX 75433 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) and the host Cumby Trojans (Cumby, TX), witnessed Bishop Lynch's softball squad tip Cumby by a count of 7-5.
The Friars now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Commerce for a non-league match on Saturday, February 17. Bishop Lynch will face a Tigers squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Cumby moves to 1-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Life Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, February 16. The Lions go into the match with a record of 1-2. Life Oak Cliff lost 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX)
