Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) fans went home satisfied Friday as they witnessed their softball squad tip the visiting Rockwall-Heath Hawks (Rockwall, TX), 5-3 in a non-league battle.

The Rangers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Lebanon Trail nudged Denison (Denison, TX), 7-5, in a non-league battle.

The Hawks now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league battle on Friday, February 16. Rockwall-Heath will meet a Scots squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Scots record now stands at 1-3.
