Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neville for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 19. Ouachita Parish will face a Tigers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Haughton (Haughton, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Mangham falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA) to face the Storm in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
