February 16, 2024: Emory, TX 75440 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) and the visiting North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX), saw Rains's softball squad nip North Lamar by a count of 3-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eustace for a non-league match on Saturday, February 17. Rains will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Atlas HomeSchool (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, North Lamar falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX) to face the Buffaloes in a non-league match on Friday, February 16. The Buffaloes enter the match with a record of 1-2. Lone Oak lost 7-6 in their recent non-league match against Mineola (Mineola, TX)
