Oak Ridge War Eagles (Conroe, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.

The War Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host HCYA for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. Oak Ridge will face a squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The record now stands at 2-3.
