In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Charlotte Catholic Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Myers Park Mustangs.

The Cougars now have a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marvin Ridge for a Conference 17 test on Monday, February 22. Charlotte Catholic will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-1.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a Conference 18 test, on Tuesday, February 23. Myers Park will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Sabres come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC).
