Kentucky High School Basketball - Eminence knocked off by Nelson County
February 17, 2022: Bardstown, KY 40004 The Nelson County Cardinals basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Eminence Warriors to 53 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington County for a non-league contest on Monday, February 21. Nelson County will meet a Commanders team coming off a 70-56 non-league loss to John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Commanders record now stands at 11-14.
The Warriors (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 19-10 record. In their last contest, Calvary Christian was outscored by Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
